The problem: Due to the high level of competition in the telecom industry, our client, a mobile operator, was facing serious issues related to maintaining the regulations related to subscriber activation and tracking down the authenticity of new subscriber activations. A unique set of system requirements were derived by the sales distribution, finance and IT departments of the operator.
The solution: A Subscriber Application Form Database System was designed, developed, implemented and integrated to the existing systems without any modifications to the existing integration points. The system enabled the operator staff together with the distribution network to streamline the subscriber activation process while maintaining the regulatory requirements in new subscriber activation.
The problem: Our client had adopted various out of the box solutions to manage their SIM inventory. However, the unique issues related to the local marketplace created various non-predicted bottlenecks in the operations. This forced our client to look for a customized solution to suit their unique requirements in managing the SIM inventory.
The solution: SIM inventory system which is integrated to charging systems and CRM system with real time record processing was designed, developed, implemented and integrated to operator’s existing system environment without any customization at the integration points.
The problem: Our client uses a sophisticated Charging system which consists of multiple balance buckets which could be used to maintain various types of balances. However, the complexities involved in the multiple balance mechanism prevented our client from offering a simple service packages which could be easily understood by its subscribers. This required a unique system development.
The solution: SMS based Balance Inquiry System was designed, developed, implemented and integrated to operator SMSC and the Real Time billing system. This system was designed to handle thousands of transactions per second and it passed all rigorous load testing procedures of the operator. This system allowed our client to offer unique service packages to its subscriber base while maintaining authenticity of each package and multiple balance buckets easily understood by its subscribers.
The problem: The local regulatory requirements and the unique service offerings produced by the marketing team of our client created a conflicting atmosphere. This required a unique systems development which could allow “any number recharge” mechanism. Our client opted to implement any number recharge mechanism over SMS.
The solution: The SMS based Recharge system was developed to enable any 3rd party mobile to recharge a subscriber accounts. Various mechanisms were adopted to avoid any misuse of the system and recharge credits of the Real Time billing platform. The system was integrated with SMSC and the Real Time Billing system of our client. All transactions were handled in real time. This system was also developed to handle very high traffic which could arise during sudden usage peaks. It also successfully passed all rigorous load testing procedures of our client.
